The Second Criminal Chamber of the Tripoli Court of Appeal has postponed the hearing of the Abu Salim prison massacre case to April 12 during its 14th session, while ordering the continued detention of the defendants. The session recorded the absence of several key defendants from the live broadcast, including Abdullah Al-Senussi and Mansour Dhao. Meanwhile, the thirteenth defendant Wajdi Al-Thabet and the thirty-fourth defendant Abdulqader Al-Warfali attended the hearing. The session was also attended by defense lawyers and a number of relatives of the victims of the Abu Salim massacre, in which 1,275 prisoners were killed in 1996 inside Abu Salim Central Prison in Tripoli.
