Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, met on Tuesday with Qatar’s Ambassador to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, to review the latest developments in the region and ongoing political and security changes. The Qatari ambassador briefed Dbeibah on recent developments in Qatar’s regional surroundings and their potential implications for regional stability, as well as ongoing efforts to contain tensions and promote de-escalation. According to the government’s media office, Dbeibah reaffirmed the Government of National Unity’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region. He stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation among brotherly countries to address shared challenges, in a way that helps preserve regional peace and serves the interests of their peoples. The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Libya and Qatar, and to expand cooperation in areas that support the developmental and economic priorities of both countries.
