A section of youths from the Nyanza region have told Gusii MPs to stop dragging President William Ruto's name into the corruption allegations facing Controller of Budget Margaret Nyakang’o. The youths led by Chairman Joel Onyango and Secretary John Makori said it was wrong for the legislators to blame President Ruto over the alleged woes facing Nyakong’o. Nominated Senator Gloria Orwoba defended President Ruto against any wrongdoing. The youths argued that the hullabaloo by the leaders was not about the woes facing Nyakang’o but politics in Gusii land where President Ruto was gaining popularity. The youths wondered why the MPs were politicizing the war against corruption, making it a community affair.
