Rome – Several earthquakes struck Italian islands in the Mediterranean Sea early today. Another 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck a nearby area three minutes later. The Italian news agency ANSA stated the 4.3 magnitude tremor was felt. Residents of Palermo, Sicily, felt it. Several weaker tremors occurred afterward.
