PUTRAJAYA: The Selangor Education Department will carry out a full investigation on the freak accident that left a Year 6 pupil with a pair of scissors embedded in his head. Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, did not want to comment on the incident, stating instead he was more baffled that the boy’s photo was going viral online. “I am not sure how the incident took place, really, so we will let the state department investigate. “The boy is lucky, the scissors did not poke his eyes. On Wednesday, the boy from Sekolah Kebangsaan Khir Johari was in the midst of a post Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) activity with his classmates when the incident occurred.
