CAIRO – 14 January 2021: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received on Wednesday President and CEO of Siemens AG Joe Kaeser and his deputy Roland Busch to examine the final agreement on the High-Speed Train project linking Alamain and Ain Sokhna. The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Transportation Kamel al-Wazir. Kaeser delivered the greetings of German Chancelor Angela Merkel, and expressed Siemens' appreciation for the fruitful cooperation with Egypt in developmental fields. Over the past years, Siemens undertook several projects in Egypt in the energy sector. On his part, the president asked Kaeser to deliver his greetings to Chancellor Merkey hailing the cooperation between Egypt and Siemens.
