The 25th edition of the European Film Festival is set to kick off this evening in Nairobi. Kenya’s longest running film festival will be taking place at the Alliance Française from today to May 28, 2016. It will feature award-winning films from 16 European countries, two African, Caribbean and Pacific films and one Kenyan film. Chasing a Dream won Audience Award amongst 259 movies from 59 countries in it’s World Premier during the 21st edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival. The Festival's agenda is to present interesting and engaging European films which serves as a refreshing break from the predominantly Hollywood narratives seen on Kenyan cinema screens.
