Last's week surprise win in Brisbane had resuscitated their season, but this result makes finals football seem, once again, like a forlorn hope. The Phoenix had to win all of their remaining home games and Saturday's 3-3 draw with Perth will feel like a defeat. That was extremely disappointing, especially as the Glory were meant to be feeling the effects of the longest trip in world football.
