The four men are prime suspects in the murder of a 22-year-old man named only as Surasak. Police investigators said the victim was a debt collector who did not send the collected money to his boss, an influential lender in the South. When the victim tried to escape from the house where he was being held in Trang, the lender had him killed, according to police.
