However, North African nation Morocco are also reportedly putting in a bid for the 2030 tournament. Ghana has revealed plans to host the 2038 FIFA World Cup. Dr Thompson also revealed that the West African nation could consider the hosting of the Olympic Games as well. The Black Stars have been at four FIFA World Cups, going beyond the group stage at the 2006 and 2010 tournaments in Germany and South Africa.
