Heat wave to hit Egypt until mid next weekCAIRO – 29 April 2021: Temperature degrees are expected to rise in Egypt as of Thursday due to a hot air mass hitting the country until mid-next week. Extending from the Arabian Peninsula, the hot air mass will affect the northern parts of Egypt during the next week. Accordingly, temperature degrees will continue to rise gradually as of Thursday, recording highs of 36°C in Cairo and lows of 19°C. Active winds will be witnessed, while the heat wave will relent during the night hours. As for temperatures on Thursday:Greater Cairo records highs of 36 °C and lows of 19°CAlexandria records highs of 30°C and lows of 18°CMatrouh records highs of 32°C and lows of 18°CSohag records highs of 37°C and lows of 22°CAswan records highs of 39°C and lows of 24°C
