He said removing him from the party candidature is like removing ODM from the county. Busia Governor Sospeter Ojamong has dared those seeking to contest for his seat on an ODM ticket to show up as he is set to pay for their party fees. He said those defecting the party were young tucks in politics and could not shake his focus on another term on the party ticket. "In Busia County, I am ODM and ODM is me and I do not fear party nominations as ahead of the next general elections as I can even sponsor those willing to compete against me for the ticket," said Mr Ojamong. He termed the exit of IEBC commissioners as a major success for the party ahead of the 2017 general elections.
