India wants Modi's March visit to be mutually beneficial


Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla made the remark when new Bangladesh High Commissioner in Delhi Muhammad Imran met him at his office on Friday. He made it known to the envoy that he planned to visit Dhaka to prepare ground work for Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Bangladesh. During the meeting, Shringla noted the importance India attaches to the relationship with Bangladesh as its immediate neighbour. Bangladesh envoy Imran appreciated Shringla’s role in consolidating the bilateral relations between the two countries during his tenure as the high commissioner of India to Bangladesh. Deputy High Commissioner Rokebul Haque accompanied the envoy during the meeting.
