A house fire in Kashmir Colony resulted in three young siblings losing their lives, as the fire department was reportedly delayed in arriving at the scene. The police reports said that the fire broke out in the two-storey building, and the family lived on the first floor. A day earlier, a fire broke out on a cargo ship docked at the Karachi port; the ship was anchored at Berth 11 of the port, according to port sources. These trucks are included in the package that was given to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation by the federal government,” the ministry spokesperson had said. On the other hand, over 80% of buildings in Karachi don’t have emergency exits.
