Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has faulted Interior CS Kithure Kindiki over former Kiganjo Police Training Institute Commandant Bruno Shioso's appointment as Kenya Coast Guard Service, Director general. Speaking on Monday, Ledama said Kindiki was misadvising President William Ruto over Shioso's appointment. He said that were it not for the Coast Guard Service, the exploitation of marine resources by foreign trawlers would not have stopped. He insisted that Bruno Shioso has little experience to lead the Kenya Coast Guard Service. "Were it not for the Kenyan Coast Guard the over-exploitation of marine resources by foreign trawlers would not have been stopped.
