The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, discussed on Thursday with the Senior Advisor of the UK Defense Ministry in North Africa and the Middle East, Martin Sampson, cooperation in defense, activating a number of military training programs and the exchange of expertise between the two countries. The meeting in Tripoli was attended by the UK ambassador and military attaché in Libya as well as a UK Defense Ministry's technical team. On Wednesday, a UK Royal Navy's warship "HMS Albion" docked in Tripoli's Abu Sitta base for the first time in eight years. The British embassy in Libya said on Twitter that the ship crew was looking forward to a great day with their Libyan Navy counterparts, reiterating that the UK is committed to working with all Libyan partners for greater stability. Her remarks came after the participation in a ceremony held on board the warship in the presence of a number of Libyan officials and foreign ambassadors.
