The line-up in the MG stable starts this month with the arrival of the ZS, which comes with a 44.5kWh battery and a claimed WLTP range of 262km. Gerard Rice, of MG Motors Ireland, says MG is the fastest-growing mainstream car brand in the UK in 2020 and is growing across Europe. EV sales are up over 20pc this year in a market that has fallen by 25pc, so MG's arrival comes at an opportune time.
