PUTRAJAYA: MIC will announce a special manifesto for the Indian community next week as part of the party's preparations for the 14th general election (GE14). Its president Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam said that in crafting the manifesto, MIC took into account all initiatives related to the Indian community which Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak touched on during the launch of BN's manifesto last Saturday. Dr Subramaniam, who is also Health Minister, said the MIB could be considered a huge achievement because it addresses many issues faced by the Indian community. The MIC president also said that he had decided on the matter of the Cameron Highlands seat – but will only make his decision known to the media after receiving the go-ahead from the top leadership. He added that the BN-led government has always been committed to improving its delivery service in the healthcare sector.
