It was a close shave for a trainee pilot from Baramati based private aviation training institute after the aircraft he was flying crashed near Rui village in Indapur tehsil in Pune district. The incident took place at around 12 noon when the trainee pilot was on his regular training sortie. According to police, the training aircraft belongs to the Carver aviation training institute in Baramati. The injured trainee pilot has been associated with the institute for last three years. Dr Vinod Shingade, who gave the primary medical aid to the injured trainee pilot said, "The injured trainee pilot has not received any life-threatening injuries.
