A computer product store manager has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to a count of dangerous driving and resisting a police officer at the Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts today. A police sergeant thought it was suspicious and asked the defendant to leave his vehicle, but he did not respond. When the sergeant attempted to shut down the car's engine by reaching through the window, the defendant suddenly accelerated the car and the door knocked over the sergeant. The incident left the sergeant with a left arm injury. The defendant’s employer and friends wrote several letters of plea, and the employer said they will continue to hire the defendant.
