Sanjay K. JhaA screenshot of the Twitter page shows Bajwa has been blockedNew Delhi: An Opposition leader who has been firing one question after another at Sushma Swaraj on the Mosul hostage situation has said the foreign minister had blocked him on Twitter. The matter has been flagged at a time Sushma has been accused of repeatedly misleading the relatives of the hostages, all 39 of whom had been killed. The Congress is planning to file in the Rajya Sabha a breach of privilege notice against Sushma on the charge of making misleading statements on the fate of the hostages. "As I was approaching the MEA (ministry of external affairs) regularly with queries, Sushma Swaraj blocked me on Twitter," Partap Singh Bajwa, a Rajya Sabha MP and former Punjab Congress chief, told The Telegraph. But if Sushma had indeed blocked Bajwa for raising a matter of public interest, it adds an ironical element as she had built up a reputation for responding to appeals for help made over social media.
