Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has said he is ready to dialogue with doctors who went on strike last week after three of their colleagues were fired. "The Governor walked out of the meeting citing other engagements for the day. "After their request for dialogue with me, I am pleased, very willing and ready, as I have always been, to meet all Machakos doctors today," he wrote on Twitter on Monday. I waited for 30 minutes and when I asked whether they were ready to resume talks, I was told they had walked away," Mutua said. Mutua said he preferred structured dialogue with no preconditions from either side.
