Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has urged his critics to stop tarnishing his name and instead show what they havedone for the residents. Deputy Governor Fatuma Achani, who accompanied Mvurya, urged the youth to form groups and register companies and apply for tenders in the nationaland county governments. Mvurya said renovation works are underway at the referral hospital and distribution of ambulances and hiring of more medical personnel. Mvurya (pictured) condemned his detractors for self-centeredness and said he will not work with selfish individuals. The governor denied that the county government had failed to improve Msambweni Hospital, saying a lot of renovation and construction is going on.
