File PhotoCHATTOGRAM, February 2, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman today said the nation would not be divided by revisiting past issues, stressing the need to move forward under the leadership of the youth. Dr. Rahman praised students from various universities for raising their voices against extortion, corruption, land grabbing and the disrespect of women. Dr. Shafiqur Rahman voiced concern over the mistreatment of mothers and sisters, emphasizing that women must be respected and protected. Dr. Rahman said the broader objective is to build Bangladesh as a just country and expressed solidarity with the people.
