An unnamed man, who is said to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital by ambulance but despite efforts to save him he died shortly after. Witnesses are now reported to have said that they saw a group sat on the edge of the balcony before the fall. One witness was reported to have said they spotted a group of 'young people sitting on the edge of the balcony' ahead of them. "He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance; however sadly he died.
