(Photo: Sunthorn Kongvarakhom)PHETCHABUN - A 61-year-old man was seriously injured after being mauled by two pit bull dogs at a house in Chon Daen district of this northern province on Friday. Upon arrival, rescuers provided first aid before rushing him to Chon Daen Hospital for urgent treatment. When those efforts failed, he and others used a wooden pole to force the dogs’ jaws open, eventually freeing the injured man. After the attack, the two pit bulls were restrained, and rescue volunteers were contacted to transport the victim to hospital.
