Dhanera (Gujarat), Aug. 4 (PTI): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi's car was pelted with stones on Friday during his visit to this flood-affected town but he was not hurt. Banaskantha’s police chief Neeraj Badgujar said a man threw stones at Rahul's car, breaking its rear glass, when he was on his way from Lal Chowk to the helipad in Dhanera. A Congress leader said a commando of the Special Protection Group assigned to protect Rahul had suffered a minor injury. ”We have detained the person who threw stones on the vehicle of Rahul Gandhi,” Badgujar said. ”All this because, the Congress Vice-President went to a flood affected area,” he said.
