Russia launched attacks on Ukraine overnight into Tuesday, Ukrainian authorities said, hours before delegations from both countries were set to join the United States in trilateral peace talks in Geneva, Switzerland. At least two people were killed and 16 wounded by Russian attacks in the past 24 hours, according to a CNN tally of statements from Ukrainian authorities. Nearly 400 drones and 29 missiles of various types were used said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The casualties were reported from various parts of the country, including Kherson, Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and the Sumy region. And next week will mark the four-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
