As part of the week-long program, a photo exhibition titled, “The history of space activities in Russia”, as well as a quiz competition was organized recently. On the last day of the program, a seminar was held where schoolchildren and students from local educational institutions participated. Deputy Registrar of Jahangirnagar University Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad, during his speech at the closing ceremony, noted the importance of such events for the study of space science and astronomy. The Russian House in Dhaka director said that these educational meetings could help Bengali youth choose their future profession and encourage them to pursue higher education in Russia.
