THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Friday filed murder charges against Sandra Cam and six others over the death of a local official from Masbate in 2019. The NBI’s Death Investigation Division filed the case at the Department of Justice (DoJ) involving the shooting of Batuan vice mayor Charlie Yuson 3rd as he and his companions were having breakfast in Sampaloc, Manila last Oct. 9, 2019. Present during the filing of the murder and attempted murder charges was widow Lalaine Yuson. Cam’s son lost to the slain vice mayor’s son, Charmax Jan, in the 2019 election. Cam, an official of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), denied all the allegations and called them “unfair.”
