(Photo: Chinnawat Singha)PHITSANULOK: A strong summer storm lashed Muang district on Tuesday night, causing widespread damage and a car crash that killed one person and injured five others. The storm moved in about 11pm, bringing heavy rain and gusty winds and lasting about an hour. The 105-metre tall antenna of a radio station operated by the Meteorological Department fell to the ground, crushing the station roof and adjacent houses in Moo 3 of tambon Tha Pho. Provincial disaster prevention and mitigation officials were still assessing the full extent of the storm damage.
