A Muranga based taxi driver is now behind bars after facing theft charges. Both the taxi driver and the police officer agreed at a transport fee of Ksh800. After paying the Ksh400 the police officer now owed the taxi driver Ksh400 which he was to pay by the end of the journey. But being drunk, the police officer instead mistakenly sent Ksh40,000 instead of paying Ksh400 to the taxi driver. Days after misusing all the Ksh40,000 in night clubs and partying with ladies, the taxi driver had no option but to return to his usual job as a taxi driver.
