Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation unveils loan scheme for micro SMEsThe Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) has launched a loan guarantee measure worth 10 billion baht to support micro SMEs to enable them to weather the current energy crisis. This is intended to lower the loan rejection rate and strengthen lenders' confidence in approving additional credit for SMEs. According to Mr Sittikorn, TCG is also committed to supporting vulnerable groups, particularly by helping small SMEs that lack collateral or guarantors gain easier access to financing. This reflects the core occupations of small SMEs, which form the country's grassroots economic base. As a result, TCG will intensify its support for small SMEs, helping them survive, sustain operations and overcome the current crisis.
