The office of Iraq’s prime minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, is not saying whether he has accepted President Donald Trump’s invitation to visit Washington. In a speech to troops at a base in western Iraq, Trump defended his decision to withdraw forces from neighboring Syria.
