After Das’s death, his son Krishna Chandra Das furthered his legacy. Around the year 1760, in a place called Natore (now in Bangladesh), there existed a sweet shop that was named after its owner Madhusudhan Pal. Gurer 'kanchagolla' at Nakur sweets Amit DattaBhairav Chandra Nag, a renowned sweet-maker in Burdwan, was the first to make sitabhog and mihidana. Bhim Chandra Nag, too, has made many different sweets.
