HALIFAX — A woman has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed overnight in a well-known Halifax park. Halifax Regional Police say they got a call just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday from a man in the city’s south end who said he had been stabbed in Point Pleasant Park. Police say they arrested a 25-year-old woman in the park just over an hour later with assistance from their K9 unit. The man, 26, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been treated and released. Police say the two people are known to eachother and the investigation is ongoing to determine charges.
