However, TMZ reports that news of Rousey's departure has been exaggerated and that she is contracted with the WWE through 2021. “Everyone [in WWE] is working with the mindset that she’s finishing up,” Wrestling Inc reported, citing the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Upon entering WWE, Rousey became a full-time wrestler and won the RAW women’s championship against Alexa Bliss in her fourth match.
