Pramanik passed away while undergoing treatment at Dhaka’s Dr Shirajul Islam Medical College Hospital at 3:40am on Sunday. “He was admitted to Sirajul Islam Medical in Malibagh after his condition deteriorated on Thursday.”Raj Ballav Pramanik had been with bdnews24.com for over a decade and was known to his colleagues as ‘Raju Da’. Raj Ballav Pramanik was born on Mar 17, 1951 in Nagarpur and completed his Masters in Accounting from Jagannath College in 1974. In 2006 he joined bdnews24.com as it began its journey. He leaves behind his wife Shima Pramanik, son Dr Shoraj Kanti Pramanik and daughter Mukta Saha Pramanik, and many others.
