According to him, making any person from the northern part of Ghana the presidential candidate of the NPP cannot be equated to honouring Simon Diedong Dombo, a founding member of the Northern Peoples Party (NPP), who played a critical role in the formation of the NPP. Speaking in an interview on Oman FM, Boakye Agyarko, a former minister of energy, said that if the NPP wants to honour Dombo they should look for his living relatives who,he said, have been neglected by the party. I can tell you on authority, his children Hajara and Sandra are there, who has asked about them before. You want to honour Dombo but you gave his grandchild a competition which made her lose her position.

KMA Bans Aboboya, Pragyia From Operating In Prime Parts Of Kumasi
The transport sub-committee of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has proposed a restriction on Aboboya and Pragyia (tricycles) in the prime parts of Kumasi's central business district. According to Afia Konadu, the Public Relations Officer of the KMA, the new measure aims to alleviate congestion in the central business district. Speaking on Kessben FM, she confirmed that the proposal has been accepted by the General Assembly of the KMA. Assin North by-election: Military aircraft lifts NPP Chairman to Korle Bu after ghastly accident
Eyewitness reports suggest that the accident occurred when he speedily tried to overtake the Daewoo truck. He was rushed to the local CHPS compound for first aid and was later referred to St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu.
