Monrovia – Young Liberian born forward Mohammed Kamara has requested insurance from the Liberia Football Association or the government before playing for the Lone Star of Liberia. The youngster, however, feels it should not be business as usual coming to play for the national team. “Realistically speaking there hasn’t been any one proposal from anyone at the Liberia Football Association, I mean no one has contacted me,” he said. I think this new dispensation of Liberian football must mark off this ugly act and move forward. Nathaniel Sherman in 2015 got injured on national team duty and since then his career came to an end due to the eye injury.

MONROVIA — Local fishermen have criticized recent move by the National Fisheries and Aqua Culture Authority (NaFAA) to change their fishing nets. They said, the decision to change their fishing nets is good, but it must be done with durable nets. “This means all fishermen using the rubber nets or the monofilament nets will be required to turn over all their rubber nets to NaFAA team during the free distribution to receive the thread nets or the multifilament nets,” NaFAA said in a released. This means, fishermen who have not paid their fishing license fees since 2018 will not receive the free fishing nets and they will no longer be allowed to use the rubber nets for fishing purposes. Mr. Manoballah is calling on all fishermen in the country to comply to the mandate of receiving fishing nets in the country.

It is very disconcerting, troubling and disheartening to see in the Liberia Human Rights Report that the US State Department is spreading falsehood by quoting Global News Network, an extremely unreliable online tabloid. The "misinformation" provided is false, malicious, and a patent attempt to sully the reputation of the Commercial Court Chief Judge, Eva Mappy Morgan, which has been built over decades. Brosius Vindicates Judge Morgan in US$3.4M 'Illegal Bank Withdrawal' Claim | Liberian ObserverFurther, on October 3, 2018, the FrontPageAfrica newspaper reported that Liberian businessman, Amos P.K. Brosius made the disclosure on Monday, October 1, 2018 when he appeared in court (Commercial Court) to answer to a four-count writ of summons for contempt on the allegation of corruption.
