XR Today: Why are organisations and companies consulting architects to build their Metaverse spaces? We experience virtual settings up close, and visitors in a VR space will notice construction materials keenly. Ogden & Daniel: Storytelling is a powerful and vital component of a successful VR experience. We think of each VR event as telling a story with a beginning, middle, and end, much like a real-life event or performance. Considerations like music, setting, theme, and narrative make the experience feel as immersive, convincing, and emotive as possible.

The regional spokesman for the US State Department, Samuel Warburg, has stated that the US, Russia, Turkey or any other country cannot impose any solution on the Libyan people, stressing that it supports Libya's sovereignty and any solution in Libya must be intra-Libyan. Warburg confirmed that the new UN envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, is in contact with all parties and held some meetings in New York on the sidelines of the General Assembly meetings and conducted a dialogue with all parties. He also explained that Libya is facing challenges without the presence of any consensus, or joint government and vision, saying that this will lead to a vacuum that the militias will unfortunately exploit,“We are in contact with the Egyptian government because we know that the chaos in Libya will affect Egypt”, Warburg added.

This misconception is a factor in the success of female terrorists in perpetrating many attacks, including suicide bombings. But these attitudes are changing with more frequent investigations and prosecutions of women terrorists in the United States and abroad. Given the heightened visibility, lethality, and contributions of female terrorists worldwide, this underestimation of women terrorists merits urgent recalibration. Historically, women have not been perceived as violent terrorists, and this lax attitude has led to the success of attacks, including suicide bombings. It means having specific programs toward potential women terrorists.

The latest European Commission report on Turkey cites multiple reasons that led to deterioration of bilateral relations including its involvement in Libya. It points out that Turkey’s military support to Libya, including the deployment of foreign fighters on the ground, and its persistent criticism and lack of cooperation with Operation IRINI are detrimental to the EU’s effective contribution to the implementation of the UN arms embargo and have led to conflicting approaches to Libya. The Commission’s report also refers to the illegal Turkey-Libya memorandum. “Turkey has continued to confirm the validity of the 2019 Turkey-Libya Maritime Delimitation Agreement, which the EU considers to be a violation of the sovereign rights of third States, which does not comply with the Law of the Sea and has no legal consequences for third States,” the report stated. As regards Turkey’s foreign policy in general, the Commission underlines that its “unilateral foreign policy” has continued to contradict EU priorities in the framework of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), in particular due to its military action in Syria and Iraq and its lack of alignment with EU restrictive measures against Russia.

Spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Tango Bilgic, expressed his country’s rejection to inspect a Turkish ship by a German frigate belonging to IRINI operation off the Libyan coast. “Turkey rejects the illegal boarding by soldiers of a German frigate belonging to IRINI to a merchant ship flying the Turkish flag without the consent of the Turkish flag state,” Bilgic said. The Spokesman announced his country’s doubts about the legitimacy, purpose and impartiality of the European Union’s naval mission off the Libyan coast. The European Union’s Operation IRINI announced last Monday on Twitter that Ankara had refused the request to inspect the ship, and this was denied by the Turkish authorities. Operation IRINI called on the Security Council to request all UN members to cooperate with the inspections.
