The 19-year-old leftback has now signed for second division FK IMT and is currently in their Under-19 squad. Despite not making the grade after his six-month trial with Crvena, Adam is adamant to stay on in the country. “It has been my goal to play in Europe since I was very young... since I was 14 in England. “I received an offer from FK IMT in mid-November and started training before spring. “Although FK IMT are a small club, their facilities are good and training sessions thus far have been great.

This was The Great Malaysian Novel, a project organised by The Star. I was very taken by it and proposed the idea for “The Great Malaysian Novel” to my bosses. The Star and Sheaffer announced The Great Malaysian Novel project on Oct 22,1991. To me, he is the true hero of The Great Malaysian Novel project. As I look back at all the printed passages, what makes me smile and feel proud is how truly multiracial the writers of The Great Malaysian Novel were.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (Reuters) - World number one Dustin Johnson says that despite posting some lacklustre results over the last few tournaments his all-around game is clicking again as he prepares to defend his Masters title this week. Johnson's 20-under total at the COVID-delayed tournament at Augusta National Golf Club last November broke the Masters all-time scoring record and delivered the American his second major title. It's a game that one day you're on, one day you're off," he said. "I've won the Masters so there's no pressure on trying to win the golf tournament," he said. Johnson will begin his title defence at the Masters at 10:30 a.m.

(Reuters) - Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes says his side are "made to win trophies" and has urged them to hurdle the semi-final barrier in cup competitions to finally get their hands on the silverware which they all crave. But they have one final shot at a trophy in the Europa League, and face Spanish side Granada in a quarter-final first leg on Thursday. United is made for trophies and the whole mood is around that. We reached the semis (of the League Cup) and lost to City, but that's not enough," Fernandes told British magazine Four Four Two. "After a few games and a bad start, nobody was saying United could reach the top of the table, but we ignored what people were saying on the outside.

(Reuters) - Paris St Germain will not have revenge on their minds when they play Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarter-final after losing to the German team in last season's decider, manager Mauricio Pochettino said on Tuesday. Bayern beat PSG 1-0 in the final last year to seal a treble but Pochettino, who replaced manager Thomas Tuchel midway through this season, said this time would be different as they were playing a two-legged tie. Revenge exists in sport but for us it's more of a challenge to beat such a strong team, maybe the best in the world. Both sides will be missing key players, with PSG striker Mauro Icardi out with a thigh injury while midfielder Marco Verratti and his Italy team mate Alessandro Florenzi both tested positive for COVID-19. Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski is sidelined with a knee injury while winger Serge Gnabry tested positive for COVID-19 but Pochettino said the German league leaders had enough squad depth to remain competitive.

PUTRAJAYA: The prosecution in Datuk Seri Najib Razak's corruption trial involving RM42mil from SRC International Sdn Bhd failed to establish the former prime minister's dominion over the stolen funds, the Court of Appeal heard. The source of the RM42mil - which was transacted out of SRC International on Dec 24,2014, as well as on Feb 2 and Feb 6,2015 - was also not proven by the prosecution, Muhammad Shafee added. "The prosecution has not shown who caused the money of SRC International to go out. Muhammad Shafee was making his submissions at the appeal filed by Najib against his conviction and sentence in the SRC International case here on Tuesday. However, Muhammad Shafee said the prosecution itself had suggested that Nik Faisal's signature on the instruction letters could have been forged through a "cut and paste".

(Reuters) - American teenage prodigy Coco Gauff says she is spending less time on social media now as she focuses on charting her own course to success in tennis. Expectations for the now 17-year-old Gauff have remained high, and she is constantly trying to live up to them. Part of that entails focusing on her tennis more and social media less, she told reporters at the WTA 500 event in Charleston. "I think I was just trying not to be on social media as much because a lot of people have opinions on you and how they think you should play," Gauff said. "But I think it's important that you focus on your journey, your path, and you're going to have a different path than other players.

The five Super Rugby teams from each country have been restricted to domestic competitions since the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the 25th season of the inter-continental version last March. O'Connor, whose Queensland Reds are flying high at the top of Super Rugby AU standings, said his team were desperate to test their mettle against the Super Rugby Aotearoa teams in a competition scheduled to start on May 14. Wallabies coach Dave Rennie said last month he thought it "essential" that the Trans-Tasman competition went ahead to get an indication of how Australian rugby was progressing. "I think fans will be keen to see us test ourselves against traditionally the best country in the world," Toomua told Australian Associated Press. "Today's announcement of a travel bubble is cause for excitement but it doesn't immediately affect our plans," Warriors chief executive Cameron George said.

The trouble for the chip industry – and increasingly companies beyond tech, like automakers – is that there aren’t enough display drivers to go around. Now the crunch in a handful of such seemingly insignificant parts – power management chips are also in short supply, for example – is cascading through the global economy. “Every application is short of chips.”The chip crunch was born out of an understandable miscalculation as the coronavirus pandemic hit last year. Wu explained that he can’t make more display drivers by pushing his workforce harder. “We have not reached a position where we can see the light at the end of tunnel yet,” Wu said.
