A New Zealand couple who booked premium economy seats for greater comfort on a long-haul Singapore Airlines flight say they should be refunded after a dog in their row ruined their experience. Press responded saying that didn't reflect the difference in value between their premium economy seats and the economy seats they ended up sitting in. They were frustrated it had been more than two months and Singapore Airlines still hadn't provided an adequate outcome. A Singapore Airlines spokesperson reiterated their apology to the couple for "any inconvenience or distress caused by their experience onboard their flight from Paris to Singapore." The airline would continue to accept approved assistance dogs – dogs trained to assist passengers with disabilities, such as guide dogs – onboard its flights.

RWC on Island is an unprecedented Rugby World Cup show, based out of the Pacific about the Pacific teams. Episode one is hosted by Oscar Kightley and features former Fiji stars Sireli Bobo and Jona Qovu, as well as Samoan legend Tuilagi Alesana Tuilagi. They go into Fiji’s chances against Wales, with a big upset on the cards. The other interesting talking point is a discussion about Island teams getting a harder time from referees when it comes to cards (about 10 minutes in). Otherwise, they chat rugby in a laid back Island style and share their knowledge on France, their experiences there and knowledge of the teams playing in the tournament.

Add to that a deep residual anger in Auckland over the last lockdown and the incremental gains made post Covid and you have an electorate wanting to punish not reward. The only thing that will shock the non ideological Left vote into action is the ongoing economic pain of sticky inflation and rising mortgages. ACT and National will unleash a level of privatisation beyond the capacity of the non ideological Left to visualise and appreciate. People are either voting to actively punish Labour or they are actively trying to avoid voting for Labour altogether.
