Retired police officers lament N73,000 pension

Again, Iran warns Israel against retaliation for missile attack

Nigeria’s Opposition Coalition lawmakers have said that the purported declaration of the seats of the Rivers State Assembly vacant by Pro-Wike lawmakers and request for Governor Siminalayi Fubara to represent the budget are dead on arrival. Ikenga Ugochinyere, said in a statement that there will be no re-presentation of the Rivers State budget by Governor Fubara before sacked lawmakers who are unknown to the 1999 constitution. According to him, the sacked lawmakers who are loyal to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike lack constitutional legitimacy to declare the seats of Rivers lawmakers led by Oko Jumbo vacant, including the illegal request for budget representation of an already implemented budget.
