The commander of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards warned Israel on Thursday against attacking the Islamic Republic in retaliation for a missile barrage as its arch-foe stepped up its offensive in Lebanon against Tehran-backed Hezbollah. Nigeria’s Opposition Coalition lawmakers have said that the purported declaration of the seats of the Rivers State Assembly vacant by Pro-Wike lawmakers and request for Governor Siminalayi Fubara to represent the budget are dead on arrival. Ikenga Ugochinyere, said in a statement that there will be no re-presentation of the Rivers State budget by Governor Fubara before sacked lawmakers who are unknown to the 1999 constitution. According to him, the sacked lawmakers who are loyal to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike lack constitutional legitimacy to declare the seats of Rivers lawmakers led by Oko Jumbo vacant, including the illegal request for budget representation of an already implemented budget. Ugochinyere said, “When people ask me to react to the declaration of the lawmakers or the Rivers State House of Assembly sacked Pro-Wike Lawmakers vacant, I say, Why must I react to every issue?
