The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MicCom Cables and Wires Limited, Bukola Adubi, has identified access to foreign exchange, electricity, and unfriendly policies on the importation of raw materials as major challenges confronting cable manufacturing in Nigeria. Adubi, who doubles as the President of the Cable Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (CAMAN), made this known during a live programme on Arise TV, recently. These challenges are further exacerbated by the Federal Government policies on the importation of raw materials for in-country cable manufacturing. The MicCom chief described the situation as frustrating. From huge taxes to exorbitant import duties on raw materials, cable manufacturers have often decried the bottlenecks faced in the importation of raw materials as these erode the bottom line.

However, it was allegedly revealed that the majority of Hakimi’s assets were registered under his mother’s name, leaving Abouk with no share in the PSG player’s earnings. Below are some responses of contributors on this topic:Elizabeth PetersMy reaction to finding out that my husband had put his assets in his mother’s name would be one of deep hurt. Therefore, if he already has his assets in his mother’s name, it means I or the children have no access to his belongings. So, if eventually I discover after marriage that his assets are in his mother’s name, I would definitely feel betrayed by the man I thought I knew. I believe it is not as if he saw it coming for him to transfer all his assets to his mother.
