A PCB official told ‘The News’ that New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has invited Pakistan team to compete in the three-nation tournament in the first half of October 2022. “Yes, I can confirm that the PCB has received an invitation to participate in the three-nation T20 event also involving Bangladesh. The reason for the PCB’s reluctance to confirm the participation is the scheduled tour of England team to Pakistan. We don’t know at this point of time as when the England team is to arrive as the schedule is yet to be finalised. “England will have to inform us about the T20 series schedule at the earliest so that we can go ahead with our plans to confirm and participate in the T20 tri series,” the official said.

Some judicial decisions are not the verdicts of history. History often differs from the court orders. Greek ancient philosopher Socrates had to drink a cup of poison (Silver Salva) to comply with the judgment of the death sentence passed by the Court, but he was regarded as a benefactor of mankind in history. Similarly, Hussain Bin Mansoor Hallaj and Sarmad were awarded death punishment by the respective courts of their time, but history remembers them as heroes and not as culprits.

With all the excitement going around, I figured I’d share five reasons why I think that the Oilers will come out on top in this series. 2 – McDAVID MAGICConnor McDavid seemed to find another level in the Oilers’ first-round series against the LA Kings. He dominates them and that will be a major factor in this series if the Oilers win. Edmonton’s powerplay has the ability to steal them games whereas I don’t believe the Flames’ powerplay has that same ability. Anything can happen in the playoffs and that right there should give you a reason to think that the Oilers can win this best-of-seven against the Flames.

With the first postseason Battle of Alberta set to kick off tomorrow night, I felt like it would be the perfect time to unload my brain a little bit on some of the thoughts that are rolling around as we head into this series. Even though a lot of people are saying this thing is over before it starts, I’m not so sure about that. That’s why the Oilers need to be prepared to answer back with shots on Calgary’s skilled guys with clean hits if that’s the game the Flames want to play. If the Flames want to take runs at our players then the Oilers will need to be prepared to do the same. Let’s have a good time over these next two weeks, but let’s not make ourselves look like morons while we’re at it.
