This situation together with actual or likely policy responses thereto weighs significantly on Pakistan’s economic outlook. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF)’s World Economic Outlook, April 2022, global economic growth is likely to recede to 3.6% in 2022, as well as in 2023, from 6.1% in 2021. The Bank of England has also raised its prime interest rate by 0.25 percentage point to a 13-year high to ward off inflationary pressures. However, if the increasing trade deficit, which reached $39 billion during FY22 (July-April), forces the introduction of import compression measures, economic growth rate may significantly fall. The increase in interest rate coupled with currency depreciation will add to the cost of debt servicing, the largest component of public spending.

In a match against 16th place Sampdoria, where a win would guarantee Fiorentina European football for the first time in six years, the Viola s*** the bed. I don’t how or why that happened, but the body language never looked right, the passes looked sloppy, and the team was not clicking. The lone bright spot of the match was a penalty from an errant handball in the 89th minute, which Nico Gonzalez slotted home. A win against Juventus next week is very possible and would still get us there, but this was our real chance. • If first-year Bears Head Coach Matt Eberflus wants to play the underdog card this season, he’ll be able to do so coming out of the gates. And the 42.5 point total is tied for the lowest of Week 1’s games. • Will it make you feel better if I underscore how the Bears aren’t alone in being home underdogs in Week 1? • A nugget from Chris Emma (670 The Score), who notes that the Bears’ Week 14 bye week comes as late as it possibly can under the NFL rules. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) May 16, 2022• Landry signing this deal with the Bears would’ve had me over the moon.

PTI chief Imran Khan is almost revealing a new conspiracy every rally. While the theme of a foreign conspiracy against him has grown familiar, he has added to it the conspiracy to kill him. Mr Khan’s reluctance to do so says little good about his years in office. - Advertisement -Mr Khan should realize that Pakistan has had a sitting PM and an ex-PM shot, and another ex-PM hanged. Mr Khan’s security must be beefed up, and he be made to share the information he has obtained, presumably over and above the agencies responsible for such matters.

Education is the key to success. Education has become the need of time. It provides the individuals with awareness of their rights and duties. An individual can only serve the country and only prove to be a good citizen if he/she knows about their basic rights along with duties.
