However, embracing these concepts sometimes requires the Government’s support, and the online education system, especially, seems to be making very little progress when compared with the time the Government first started promoting it. What promoting the online education system means is supporting it, financing it, and raising awareness about it. According to the Ceylon Teachers’ Union, around 60% of school students do not have access to online education systems. However, the bigger question is, does Sri Lanka even have a proper plan to make the online education system a reality? Due to the lack of planning and focus by the authorities, many of the students in Sri Lanka are unable to learn.

We invite the world to invest in the Port City project.

One of the issues that demonstrated the approach of the Sri Lankan authorities to the problem of enforced disappearances could be discovered in a close study of the narrative of the Office on Missing Persons (OMP). The issue that the international community has found difficult to deal with is the fact that enforced disappearances in Sri Lanka developed as a State policy. The greatest manifestation of this State policy is that the largest number of cases of persons who had disappeared has faced that fate while they were in the custody of the security forces. The laws were made in order to enable enforced disappearances. (The writer is the Asian Human Rights Commission’s Policy and Programmes Director)

This sees a transparent mmWave 5G antenna placed under a smartphone’s display. This should result in more reliable mmWave 5G connectivity in theory. mmWave 5G is the fastest type of cellular connectivity available right now, outpacing sub-6GHz 5G that forms the backbone of the majority of 5G networks right now. As the name implies, Antenna-on-Display is a transparent mmWave antenna that sits under the screen. So if the firm’s reasoning holds up, then phones with AoD technology should deliver more reliable mmWave connectivity and potentially faster speeds too.

Ferrari's game-changing green supercar: This is the new 296 GTB. It insisted the 296 GTB does not 'replace' the F8 Tributo or the V8 range, but rather 'complements' it. Although the 296 GTB is not Ferrari's first plug in hybrid, it is Ferrari's first V6-twin turbo with hybrid system on rear wheels only. The LaFerrari completed it in 1:19.7, meaning the V6-powered 296 GTB is only a fraction slower than the ultra-expensive hypercar. It will likely come at a fairly sizable price premiumIt's quick, but what will a plug-in hybrid V6 Ferrari sound like?

By David Churchill Transport Correspondent For The Daily MailPublished: 17:06 EDT, 23 June 2021 | Updated: 18:37 EDT, 23 June 2021Angela Merkel yesterday called on other European countries to force UK travellers to quarantine on arrival in a major threat to ministers’ plans to reopen foreign travel. The German Chancellor said she would like other European nations to require travellers from countries with a high prevalence of the Indian variant, like Britain, to go into quarantine. Health minister Roberto Speranza said on Friday that Italy will require all travellers from Britain to quarantine for five days upon arrival. But if other European countries listen to Mrs Merkel’s call then UK holidaymakers’ options could be limited even further this summer. Portugal, Spain and Greece are still allowing UK holidaymakers to visit with proof of a negative test and no quarantine.

England will endure far tougher games than this if they are to add the T20 World Cup to the 50-over version they won two years ago. It was not so much the result — an eight-wicket win with 17 balls to spare against a team who looked every inch the world’s eighth-best side in this format. What stood out instead was the manner of victory in the first of 12 white-ball internationals against Sri Lanka and Pakistan over the next four weeks. It was also his first T20 international since late 2015. But the one-sidedness of this match means that anything other than another comfortable win in tonight’s second game here will feel like a letdown.
