CAIRO-14 January 2020: Algerian star Messaoud Berkous revealed that he is happy to lead his national team in the competition for the fifth time in his career. Algeria handball national team will open their participation in the IHF Men's Handball World Cup on Thursday night when they face rivals, Morocco. Berkous added "Our group is a difficult one, we play against Morocco today and we need to do really well to go further. There are no 'big' or 'small' teams, all teams are good enough and have ambitions of advancing but we want to be the tournament's surprise package." Algeria plays in Group F alongside Morocco, Iceland and Portugal.
