The European Union Mission to Libya hosted an iftar in the heart of Tripoli’s Old City in cooperation with the organizations Moomken and Acted, celebrating the commitment and vital role of Libyan civil society. The event was organized as part of the EU-Libya WASL Civil Society Connect initiative bringing together Libyan civil society organizations and embassies of EU member states to exchange views and strengthen dialogue. The evening also saw the opening of the “Tejwal” exhibition, an educational display featuring interactive presentations that highlight the history and development of civil society across different regions of Libya.
